The United Arab Emirates participated in the 36th Meeting of Their Excellencies and Highnesses Ministers of Justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. The UAE delegation was headed by H.E. Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Federal Judicial Council.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance judicial and legal cooperation and coordination among GCC countries, in addition to reviewing the outcomes and recommendations of the Committee of Directors and Heads of Judicial and Legal Training Centres and Institutes, the draft Unified Rules for Combating Information Technology Crimes, and the report of the Committee of Officials of International Cooperation and International Relations Departments at the Ministries of Justice.
