On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, shed light on the achievements of Emirati women across the justice and judiciary sectors, which serves as a testament to the UAE’s approach to empowering national talents and strengthening the country’s role in establishing an advanced institutional system founded on the rule of law, efficiency and equal opportunity.
H.E. Al Nuaimi said, “On Emirati Women’s Day, we commemorate Emirati women’s a contributions and achievements. They have played a pivotal role in advancing the judicial, legal and legislative systems, and they now stand as key partners in safeguarding rights and reinforcing trust in the justice system. Their contributions underscore that excellence in upholding the law is driven by knowledge, competence and integrity and that national responsibility is always associated with the ability to contribute and innovate.”
His Excellency added: “These achievements of Emirati women have been supported by the wise vision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “The Mother of the Nation”, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF). The forward-looking vision of Her Highness has created a national model that has positioned women as active partners in the development journey and shaping the future.”
This year’s Emirati Women’s Day theme, ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better,’ signifies the indispensable role of Emirati women across the nation’s wider judicial, developmental and economic sectors. H.E. Al Nuaimi emphasised that their contributions have become a key pillar in driving national growth and reinforcing the UAE’s competitiveness.
