The second round of negotiations between the UAE and the Republic of Slovenia was held in Abu Dhabi over two days. Discussions focused on the draft agreements related to extradition and mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.
The UAE delegation was headed by H.E. Judge Abdulrahman Murad Al Balooshi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the International Cooperation and Legal Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Justice, while the Slovenian delegation was led by Dr Katja Rejec Longar, Director of Office for International Cooperation and Mutual Legal Assistance at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia. The delegations also included representatives from federal and local entities.
This round comes within the framework of strengthening judicial cooperation between the two countries, contributing to supporting joint efforts to combat transnational crime and consolidating the principles of justice.
