Abdulla Abdul Jabbar Al Majid, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Support Services, Chief Executive Officer of Innovation inaugurated the works of the "Development of Services and Judicial Procedures” Laboratory forum at the Noufotel Hotel in Fujairah.

The event was attended by a large number of members of the judiciary in the UAE. The event is part of the Ministry of Justice's activities in the UAE Innovation Month.
The Ministry of Justice's Chief Executive of Innovation stated that the laboratory comes from the Ministry's constant efforts to provide initiatives and innovations that contribute to the realization of our vision of achieving justice and its commitment to provide a fair judicial system through effective legislations that guarantee the rule of law, the protection of rights and freedoms and the provision of distinct legal services.

It also contributes to achieving one of our strategic objectives of establishing a culture of innovation in the institutional work environment, thus contributing to the achievement of the UAE Vision 2021 and the National Strategy for Innovation, which aims to move the country to a new stage in which the culture of innovation between individuals, businesses and the government sector is built and disseminated and placed at the heart of its activities.

Al-Majid also welcomed James McMillan, Court Technology Advisory Expert at the National Center of State Courts in the United States of America.
He stressed that the laboratory of "development of services and judicial procedures" seeks to reach the elements required to distinguish the courts in order to provide effective and efficient judicial services.

It consists of three important axes: the organization of court administration and resources, their impact on the quality and speed of implementation of the proceedings in the provision of judicial services, the effectiveness and efficiency of case management with a holistic view of integrated justice, as well as a presentation of successful global experiences and practices.
