His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, received, at Abu Dhabi-based headquarters, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and his accompanying delegation.
The two ministers explored ways to enhance UAE-Mauritanian legal and judicial cooperation and reviewed issues of mutual interest related to partnership and international cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Mauritanian delegation, accompanied by His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, inspected the Abu Dhabi Federal Courts, where they viewed the most outstanding digital practices executed within the federal judicial system; remote litigation systems, e-management of case files, and smart services provided to customers.
Hailing the level of technological and legislative development seen by the UAE Federal Courts, the Mauritanian Minister stressed the importance of exchanging expertise in this area to support the digital transformation of judicial systems.
His Excellency Mubarak Ali Abdullah Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, His Excellency Mohammad Mohammad Rara, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the UAE; Judge Jassim Saif Bu Osaiba, Head of the Judicial Inspection Department; Counselor Abdul-Aziz Al-Raisi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services; and Counselor Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry, attended the meeting.
